What We’re About

Traditionally the term legacy has been part of the realm of financial or estate planning, particularly determining how to transfer wealth (primarily in the form of money and property) to others after death.

More and more is now written about the legacies defined by how people have lived, what they have done with their lives or in their work, and the lasting benefit that provides to others – but still after the fact.

• We believe each individual has something important to contribute to the world – and is something only they can bring about – that will affect others in a deep and important way, however large or small.
• We also believe that making that contribution, receiving the gratitude and appreciation of others for it even indirectly from knowing the benefit you’ve provided, ranks among the highest and best of human experiences: good for both the receiver and the giver.

This experience of legacy can be consciously chosen and created by anyone courageous and willing enough to discover those things they feel deeply about, that move or inspire them, and do something about them in a way that is beneficial and thereby brings them great joy. That is the distinction between merely doing ‘hard work,’ and actually doing ‘good work.’ That distinction can make all the difference between just living life … and a life well and thoroughly lived.

Your Business Lately:

If you are a professional, business owner or corporate executive you have undertaken work – which at one time may have also been a calling – to build career experience, earn a living, raise and educate children, build and furnish a comfortable home or acquire the “stuff” and experiences that make life enjoyable. Hopefully, that work also provided a valuable service or product, and gave you some measure of professional satisfaction … maybe less and less of that over time. The business or professional practice gets built and carries on as people join and leave it, sometimes continuing on for decades or more. You’ve seen that happen, but you just don’t want to be a part of it anymore … or maybe you’ve already left that scene.

You’ve “been there and done that” as far as your career work is concerned. You’ve reached for the brass ring and maybe even grabbed it a few times, only to realize there’s another goal beyond that to reach for and accomplish.
